Denver’s Festivus Film Festival Whips it out Next Week

That’s right Denver, Festivus is about to whip it out and skull %&*$….whoa, settle down there, sorry, last year’s Festivus was such a good time, I got a little excited.

The Oriental Theater and The Bug Theater will host the 2012 Festivus Film Festival, January 12 – 15. Uh, Hello Denver, why are you missing one of city’s diamonds in the rough? MovieMaker Magazine dubbed Festivus one of the “20 Coolest Film Festivals” and 2012 marks the 5th year of Jonathan Macfarlane and Tim DeMasters’ brainchild of indie attitude and eclectic appetites.

The 2012 program boasts 62 Films, with 2 Full Length Feature World Premieres, and numerous world premieres of short films.  Including, Sridhar Reddy’s modern twist or terror on Dante’s Inferno, “Lilith” and Ross McQueen’s Australian Black Comedy, “Blockhouse Blues and the Elmore Beast.”

I’ll be posting the schedule in the Mile High Cinema calender. Check out the official Festival trailer:
