Critics have given a loving nod to Anderson’s latest film and it got expectantly pleasant reviews from it’s debut at the Cannes Film Festival. Known for his unforgettable ensemble casts, and for using Bill Murray more than Quentin Tarantino uses Samuel L. Jackson, this is one of Anderson’s best ensembles yet. It includes, Bruce Willis, Edward Norton, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton, Harvey Keitel and of course Anderson regulars, Jason Schwartzman and Bill Murry.
For “Moonrise Kingdom,” Anderson reunited with co-writer Roman Coppola from their screenwriting collaboration on “The Darjeeling Limited” with Schwartzman. If you’re a Wes Anderson admirer, you know what’s in store and word on the street is, he delivers his usual goods.
